The Tamil Nadu Electricity Board has announced that power supply will be temporarily suspended in some areas of Chennai tomorrow (Dec 17) due to maintenance work. The outage is scheduled to take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Electricity will be restored once the maintenance is completed.
According to the official notice, the localities expected to be affected by the planned power cut include Queen Victoria Road, Ambal Nagar, Chakramangalam Nagar and Saravana Nagar. Residents of these areas are advised to plan accordingly and make arrangements in advance for the temporary interruption in supply.
The power cut is part of routine work being carried out by the Tamil Nadu electricity department to ensure better service and infrastructure upkeep.
