Acclaimed filmmaker A. R. Murugadoss is all set to make his Bollywood debut as a producer, marking a significant new phase in his career.
The director, known for delivering major hits across Tamil and Hindi cinema, will be backing a high-profile Hindi project in collaboration with leading production houses. The upcoming film is expected to be a large-scale action entertainer, reflecting Murugadoss’ signature style of commercial storytelling with strong narratives.
The project will feature Bollywood star Sunny Deol in the lead role, with Jyotika playing a key part. The film will be directed by Murugadoss’ longtime associate Balaji Ganesh, marking his directorial debut.
Produced jointly with Excel Entertainment, the banner founded by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani, the film has already gone on floors and is being positioned as a pan-Indian action thriller.
