The much-awaited thriller Drishyam 3 is all set for its exclusive global streaming premiere on Prime Video from June 18, bringing back one of Indian cinema’s most iconic crime sagas to audiences worldwide.
Written and directed by Jeethu Joseph, the film reunites Mohanlal, Meena, and Siddique in pivotal roles. Produced by Antony Perumbavoor under Aashirvad Cinemas and presented by PEN Studios and Panorama Studios, the film continues the gripping journey of George Kutty and his family.
Following a successful theatrical run, Drishyam 3 will stream in Malayalam, along with dubbed versions in Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada, reaching Prime members in India and over 200 countries and territories.
The story picks up years after Drishyam 2, with George Kutty seemingly securing a stable life for his family. However, his past resurfaces when two journalists begin investigating the real-life events that inspired his story. What starts as curiosity soon spirals into danger, especially when a marriage proposal involving his daughter turns into a deadly trap. As old enemies return and pressure mounts, George Kutty is once again forced to rely on his intelligence and instincts to protect his loved ones.
Speaking about the film, Jeethu Joseph described it as the most emotionally layered chapter yet, exploring the psychological toll of George Kutty’s past decisions. Mohanlal also emphasized the deep emotional connection audiences have built with the character over the years, calling it a story rooted in family, love, and survival.
With its legacy of gripping storytelling and unforgettable twists, Drishyam 3 is expected to captivate global audiences once again as it joins Prime Video’s major lineup ahead of the upcoming Prime Day celebrations.
