Ravi Mohan wraps Karathey Babu

Actor Ravi Mohan has completed work on Karathey Babu, the upcoming film directed by Ganesh K Babu. Marking the milestone, the filmmaker shared a heartfelt note expressing gratitude for the collaboration.
Taking to social media, Ganesh K Babu described working with Ravi Mohan as a long-cherished dream. He wrote that beyond admiring him as an actor, he found in him a mentor and elder brother, thanking him for his trust and generosity throughout the journey.
Karathey Babu, slated for release on August 28, comes 11 years after Ravi Mohan’s Thani Oruvan. The film is said to trace the rise of a politician and his journey to power.
The cast includes debutante Daudee Jiwal along with K. S. Ravikumar, Shakthi Vasu, Nassar, VTV Ganesh, Subramaniam Siva, Kavithalaya Krishnan and Pradeep Antony, among others.
The film’s screenplay is co-written by Rathna Kumar and Bakkiyam Sankar, while music is composed by Sam C. S.. The technical team includes cinematographer Ezhil Arasu K, editor Kathiresh Alagesan, production designer Shanmugaraja and stunt choreographer Dhilip Subbarayan.
Produced by Sundar Arumugam under the Screen Scene Media Entertainment banner, Karathey Babu is gearing up for its theatrical release later this August.
