Trident Arts announces its 21st production, ‘Mary Gold’, with R. Ravindran producing and Priyan Rajendran directing. Set against the backdrop of Tirunelveli and Thoothukudi, the film brings together Prabhu and Sukanya on screen after 31 years, alongside Rakshan and Namritha in pivotal roles.
The film explores the rivalry between characters from Tirunelveli and Thoothukudi while delving into the contrasting lifestyles and cultural flavours of southern Tamil Nadu. At its core, ‘Mary Gold’ promises to blend an engaging, fast-paced narrative with an emotional family drama. The cast also includes Singampuli, Vadivukkarasi, Imaan Annachi, Vivek Prasanna, Stalin and Vadivel Murugan.
Mallikarjun handles the cinematography, with Siddhu Kumar composing the music and R. Nirmal taking care of the editing. G. Durai Raj is the art director, while Deepu M handles choreography and Abishek Srinivasan the stunts. Sudharsan serves as Co-Producer and Sanjay Vijayraghavan as Creative Producer.
