The team of Modha Rathiri, directed by Raja Karuppasamy and starring Rishikanth and Anishma Anilkumar, held a thanksgiving event following the film’s theatrical success. Produced by Mythri Movie Makers, the film released worldwide on August 21.
Producer Naveen Yerneni congratulated the director, cast and crew, saying he was happy with the film’s response and that the team was exploring taking the film to other languages. He described it as Mythri Movie Makers’ third successful Tamil production after Good Bad Ugly and Dude.
Director Raja Karuppasamy thanked the production house, cast, technicians, media and audiences for supporting the film. He said the project had been in the making for nearly six years and expressed happiness over the reported houseful shows.
Rishikanth thanked the media and audiences for supporting the film and said he and Raja had carried the project for six years. He said their aim was to create an entertaining film that families could enjoy together.
Actors Chetan, Bhagavathi Perumal, Iniya Ram, Deepika and others, along with composer Bharath Sankar and members of the technical team, also thanked the producers and audiences for supporting the film and providing opportunities to new talent.
