CHENNAI:
The Tamil Nadu Housing Board (TNHB) has extended the deadline for online applications for residential units under its various housing schemes by 15 days, providing additional time for prospective applicants.
The Housing Board had invited applications through advertisements in leading newspapers for allotment of residential units through an online lottery system. Registration for the different housing projects began on August 21, with individual closing dates announced for each scheme.
The extension follows requests from the public and the response received for the housing schemes. Under the revised arrangement, applicants will get an additional 15 days from the respective original closing date of each scheme to submit their applications.
Eligible applicants can make use of the extended period to register online for the housing units. Applications can be submitted through the official Tamil Nadu Housing Board website, where details of the various schemes, eligibility criteria and application procedures are available.
