The Tamil Nadu government has ordered the transfer of 13 IPS and other senior police officers across the State.
K Joshi Nirmal Kumar, who was serving as Salem City Police Commissioner, has been appointed IG, Modernisation, at the DGP’s office in Chennai. A G Babu, Additional Commissioner of Police, Chennai Police Headquarters, has been appointed the new Salem City Police Commissioner.
Dr Santosh Hadimani, Salem Range DIG, has been transferred as Joint Commissioner of Police, Intelligence, Greater Chennai Police. N Devarani, who was serving as DIG, Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption, has been appointed Salem Range DIG.
V Badri Narayanan, Superintendent of Police, Coimbatore Anti-Terrorism Squad, has been transferred as Deputy Commissioner of Police, Adyar.
A C Karthikeyan, who was on the waiting list, has been appointed SP, Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board.
N Mathivanan, SP, Narcotics Intelligence Bureau, Chennai, has been appointed Deputy Commissioner of Police, Pallikaranai, while V R Srinivasan, who was serving as DCP, Pallikaranai, has been posted as SP, Narcotics Intelligence Bureau, Chennai.
K Stalin, who was serving as SP, Uniformed Services Recruitment Board, has been appointed SP, CBCID, South Zone, Chennai.
P Sundaravadivel, DCP, Security Branch, Chennai, has been transferred as DCP, Welfare and Estate.
Dr V Bhaskaran has been transferred from DCP, Washermenpet, to DCP, Salem North. Ankit Singh, who was serving as DCP, Salem North, has been transferred as DCP, Washermenpet.
Dr R Stalin, who was on the waiting list, has been appointed SP, Economic Offences Wing, North Zone, Chennai.
