Chennai, Oct 1:
Customs officials at Chennai International Airport have seized components capable of assembling around 10 drones and a large quantity of prohibited e-cigarettes from a passenger who arrived from Dubai.
The passenger, a Chennai resident aged around 35, was intercepted after officials found the components in his suitcase. The combined international value of the seized drone parts and e-cigarettes was estimated at around Rs 35 lakh. Officials are probing the intended recipients and purpose of the consignment.
