Chennnai, Oct 6:
Airtel Business has launched Airtel IQ Gateway, a telco-grade network intelligence platform that brings SMS, WhatsApp, RCS, voice communications and number verification onto a single control platform.
The DPDP-compliant platform enables enterprises to manage multiple communication channels through one dashboard, with real-time delivery reports, intelligent routing, automatic vendor failover and integration with the DLT message template system. It is designed to reduce fraud losses and billing spikes caused by fraudulent SMS pumping and improve customer communication security.
The platform also includes Airtel IQ Verify for network-based fraud scoring and Silent Authentication, which validates the active SIM linked to a mobile number, reducing risks associated with SIM swaps and social engineering. IQ Gateway can be deployed on an enterprise’s premises or hosted on Airtel’s cloud as a SaaS solution.
Launched nationwide following trials with banks, financial institutions and other industry partners, the platform is aimed particularly at sectors such as banking, government, e-commerce and logistics. Airtel said IQ Gateway will help enterprises strengthen customer trust while managing communications at scale.
