Flipkart has acquired a minority stake in TravClan, a global B2B travel technology platform, to strengthen international travel supply and expand holiday packages on Cleartrip and Flipkart Travel.
TravClan works with direct suppliers across domestic and international destinations and enables more than 15,000 travel agents to customise and book real-time packages, hotels and activities. Its 24/7 on-ground support and destination operations will help Cleartrip and Flipkart Travel offer customers a wider range of international holidays with local assistance.
Flipkart said the investment will support TravClan’s expansion of its global supplier network, technology and destination operations, as well as the growth of its teams across business development, engineering and destination operations.
