‘Iâm not a billionaire who can finance a film like this on my own, but I believe films like Baththa will take me to that level. VijaySethupathi has taught me a lot as an artist and as a brother. More than his performance, Iâm a fan of him as a human being.’
Baththa, which released on October 2, has received largely positive responses from critics and audiences. The film, directed by Balaji Tharaneetharan, is described as a gangster coming-of-age story that also explores ego, childhood influences and the psychological factors that shape human choices.
