Yogi Babu’s upcoming film with director KV Kathirvelu has been titled Singgaramm, with the makers announcing that the film will hit theatres on October 30.
While the plot details are yet to be revealed, the makers describe Singgaramm as the story of an ordinary man who finds the courage to stand up against oppression and rewrite his destiny.
AS Ramana Balaji and Padmavathy Gandhi are producing the film under the Raack Productions banner. The cast includes Vela Ramamoorthy, Badava Gopi, Java Sundaresan, Sendrayan, KM Ganeshkar and Sabbita Roi, among others.
Sam CS has composed the music, with lyrics by Viveka. Prasanna S Kumar is the cinematographer, Lawrence Kishore is the editor, Gururaj is the art director and Phantom Pradeep has choreographed the stunts.
Kathirvelu previously directed the 2021 film Rajavamsam, which starred Sasikumar.
Yogi Babu has several other projects in the pipeline, including Kaagangal, Arjunan Per Paththu, Lollipop Sports Academy, Golden Bhagayam, an untitled film with Jai and Priyanka Mohan, Harivarasanam, starring Saiju Kurup, and another film directed by R Kishore Kumar, in which he plays the lead.
He will also be seen alongside Rajinikanth in Jailer 2, which is scheduled to release on October 15.
