Chennai: A man who was repairing an air conditioner at an IT building in Thoraipakkam fell and died last evening.
According to the police, Prakasam Ethiraja (35), a native of Mahabalipuram was fixing a faulty air conditioner by climbing to the parapet of the seventh floor of the Chennai One building.
Police said, he slipped and fell while repairing it. He was immediately rushed to a nearby Kamatchi Hospital, but he could not be saved.
His body was sent to Government Royapettah Hospital for post mortem. Thoraipakkam police have registered a case.
