Actor Ajith Kumar, who returned from Germany after attending a conference on aeromodelling, was mobbed by fans at Chennai airport in the wee hours of today. The police, deployed in large numbers, escorted him to his car.
Ajith attended a meet in Germany facilitated by a private aeromodelling company for which he is a consultant. It was organised to discuss how to use drones as air ambulance during emergency.
It is well-known that aviation is a passion with Ajith and he holds a pilot’s licence.
He was also recently appointed as the āHelicopter Test Pilot and UAV System Adviserā by the Madras Institute of Technology (MIT) and guided a young team to victory at a conference held in Australia.
Ajith is awaiting the release of his next film, Viswasam, which will hit theĀ screens Pongal. He will start shooting for the remake of Hindi filmĀ PinkĀ by early next year.
