Chennai: Skipper N Niranjana scored a century to help Tamil Nadu beat Bengal by 36 runs in the Senior Women One Day League Elite Group B match at the Alur Cricket Ground in Bengaluru.
Batting first, opener Niranjana smashed 100 runs off 112 balls to propel TN to 195 for eight. Bengal was skittled out for 159 in 42.4 overs, courtesy good bowling by TN.
