Chennai: SL Raja Ganesh (7/11) bowled a scintillating spell as Thiruvallur Cricket Club beat WABCO India by a mammoth margin of 157 runs in the TNCA Thiruvallur DCA League match.

Raja Ganesh ran through WABCO’s batting order, scalping seven wickets for 11 runs in 4.5 overs, which included three maidens, reducing it to 57. Earlier, K Sudhakar (70) and P Lithish Kumar (69*) added 133 runs for the first wicket in 19.2 overs to guide the winner to 214 for two in the first innings.

Mugappair CC 202 for 8 in 45 overs (G Sathish Kumar 38, M Prasanna 37, R Adithya Venkatesh 54) beat Thiruthani CC 127 in 35.4 overs (S Balaji 27, K Sadagopan 25, R Rajaguru 3/17).

II Division: Thiruvallur CC 214 for 2 in 30 overs (K Sudhakar 70, P Lithish Kumar 69*, R Varun 48) beat WABCO India RC 57 in 11.5 overs (Jai Krishna 25, SL Raja Ganesh 7/11)

III Division: Aththis CC 155 for 5 in 30 overs (T Dilipkumar 66*, C Dillibabu 26, M Vijay 3/33) lost to Stag CC 160 for 5 in 25.4 overs (M Vijay 45, G Vijayakumar 32*, J Sathish Kumar 25, C Dillibabu 5/47).

IV Division: DRBCCC Hindu College 180 for 7 in 30 overs (C. Vickram 76, C Dinesh 31, A Kumar 4/40) beat CPCL RC 100 in 26.2 overs (A Kumar 33, J Chinnadurai 39, M Lingan 4/39, P Vickram 3/34).

15th Lucas TVS Thiruvallur DCA Trophy 2018-19: Group B: Wheels India 182 for 9 in 30 overs (C Sathiya Kumar 69, M Tajudeen 5/41) beat India Japan Lighting 88 in 26.3 Overs ( D Alexander David Raj 3/12)
