Chennai: Pramod Kumar took charge as senior deputy general manager (SDGM) and chief vigilance officer (CVO) of Southern Railway Tuesday.
He succeeds J P Pandey who has now been posted as principal chief material manager, Western Railway.
According to a press release, Pramod Kumar was earlier working as chief project director, Railway Electrification, in Jaipur.
He is a graduate in Electrical Engineering from Agra University and belongs to Indian Railway Service Electrical Engineers (IRSEE) of 1984 UPSC batch. He has worked in various fields in Railways.
