Replica of Tirupati Balaji temple to be opened in TN on 27 Jan


Tirupati: Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams has constructed the replica of Lord Venkateswara at Kanyakumari in Tamilnadu and the shrine would be open for devotees from 27 January.

According to official reports, the temple complex has been built at a cost of Rs 22.5 crore and it also houses Goddess Sri Padmavathi shrine, thus making it convenient for people to offer prayers at both Lord Venkateswara and Sri Padmavathi temples.

A Mahasamprokshanam ritual would be conducted by TTD priests at the shrine on the day between 7.30 and 9 am.
