Chennai: A day after Telangana Rashtra Samiti chief K Chandrasekara Rao met DMK President MK Stalin, the leader of opposition in Tamilnadu Assembly said he did not see any chances for a third front post Lok Sabha polls. However, he said a decision could be taken on it only after the results are announced on 23 May.

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekara Rao met Stalin at his residence in a bid to rope in DMK in his proposed alternative front – a non-Congress, non-BJP federal front of regional parties. The meeting said to take gone on for over an hour.

However, the DMK chief said KCR had come to the State to visit temples and not to forge an alliance and the meeting with him was just a courtesy call.

On 10 May, Rao had he visited the Sri Ramanathaswamy Temple in Rameswaram after going to Kanyakumari and earlier in the day yesterday, he had offered prayers at the ancient Sri Ranganathaswamy temple at Srirangam in Tiruchirappalli.
