Chennai: Tamilnadu Information Minister Kadambur Raju today said the death of three-year-old boy Sujith, who fell into a borewell close to his home in Tiruchi district last week, was due to the negligence of his parents.

Speaking to the media, he said Sujith’s death was not an accident in a public place. ”It happened in a private property because of his parents’ negligence.”

He also said Journalists Welfare Board will be set up before January with all features to protect the interests of mediapersons.

Stating that local body elections would be conducted soon, he said the AIADMK-led alliance would emerge victorious.
