Chennai: The Association of Minimal Access Surgeons of India (AMASI) will conduct its annual international conference on a virtual platform from 20 to 22 November.
According to a press release, about 5000 surgeons from all over the globe are participating in this largest gathering of surgical experts during Covid pandemic. The meeting is organised under the chairmanship of Dr C Palanivelu and Dr B S Pathania, president – AMASI.
The highlight of this international congress will be the live demonstration of laparoscopic and robotic surgeries from various hospitals in India and abroad including Korea, Japan and Germany. GEM Hospital Chennai and Coimbatore, Zen Hospital Mumbai and ILS Hospital Kolkata will beam various surgeries including hernia, cancer and bariatric procedures.
