Chennai: A music video as an ode to S P Balasubrahmanyam was launched recently. Four remarkable artistes across generations – Haricharan Seshadri, Utthara Unnikrishnan, Srinivas and Anirudh Ravichander came together through the music video to celebrate SPB’s music that transcends through a lineage of music lovers.
The video was conceptualised and created by 3 Roses in collaboration with Sony Music and Mindshare. It was been released on 15 December which marks 54th anniversary to the start of SPB’s 40000+ song career as a playback singer.
The ode, in the form of a melodious song, weaves a storyline that runs over different periods of time, representative of how SPB’s work over 50 years has knitted different age groups together.
