Chennai: Mukkalathor Puli Padai president and actor Karunaas today announced his decision to pull out of the AIADMK alliance.
Speaking to reporters, Karunaas, who contested last Assembly election from Thiruvadanai in AIADMK combine and emerged victorious, said, “Mukalathor Puli Padai has chosen to pull out of the alliance. We are planning to contest in 84 Assembly seats against AIADMK. We vow to ensure their defeat.”
Karunaas said, “We were treated with respect by Jayalalithaa in 2016. She made us feel comfortable and asked what all we wanted. She was a tall leader. Unfortunately EPS has gone back on all his promises. He has cheated us”.
Remember Sarathkumar’s All India Samathuva Makkal Katchi which was in AIADMK alliance chose to pull out of the alliance recently.
