Chennai: Tamilnadu has so far received a total of 584.45 MT of Liquid Medical oxygen (LMO) delivered through 11 oxygen express trains operated by the Southern Railway.
Sources said eight oxygen loaded express trains had arrived in Tamilnadu till Monday.
The ninth loaded oxygen express that left from Rourkela with two containers carrying 36.74 MT of LMO reached the Inland Container Depot, Tondiarpet Wednesday night.
The tenth train that departed from Rourkela with 29.24 MT of LMO in three tankers arrived at Madukkarai near Coimbatore Thursday and the 11th express that left Rourkela carrying 78.58 MT of LMO in four containers reached Inland Container Depot, Tondiarpet Thursday.
The 12th Oxygen Express for Inland Container Depot, Tondiarpet dispatched from Rourkela carrying 64.95 MT of LMO in a total of three containers arrived last night.
The 13th loaded Oxygen Express dispatched from Rourkela carrying 79.31 MT of LMO in five tankers for Tamilnadu is likely to arrive today.
