Huge haul of ganja in city

City Police have arrested a 22-year-old youth for possession of 3.5 kg of ganja in Nungambakkam.Police had received a tip off about ganja sales in Nungambakkam area after which special teams were formed to comb the neighbourhoods.A youth, who was loitering near the Independence Day park, was detained on suspicion. When police checked his bag, he was found having 3.5 kg of ganja, meant for distribution.Police also found five knives in his bag. The arrested person was identified as M Mohammad Rabi, of Nungambakkam.
