The fatal accident occurred when the driver lost control of the vehicle, leading to the car’s tragic descent into the river. Sadly, while Vetri Duraisamy was reported missing, the driver of the vehicle, identified as Tanjin, was declared dead on the scene. Another co-passenger, Gopinath, survived the ordeal but was admitted to a hospital for medical attention.
