Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered a scathing indictment of the DMK and Congress parties during his campaign rally in Mettupalayam near Coimbatore, vowing to eradicate corruption and urging voters to deliver a resounding rebuke to the two parties in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls.

In a blistering tirade, Modi labeled the DMK as synonymous with corruption, citing the infamous 2G scam as a stain on the nation’s reputation. He underscored the achievements of the BJP government in propelling India into the digital age with record advancements in 5G technology, contrasting it with the DMK’s tainted legacy of corruption.

“Under the BJP government, the nation is setting records in 5G technology, but the DMK brought shame to the nation through the 2G scam,” Modi declared, emphasizing the need for voters to administer a fitting punishment to the corrupt practices of the DMK and Congress in the upcoming elections.

Modi further lambasted the DMK for allegedly obstructing investments in Tamil Nadu for its own self-serving interests, accusing the party of inflicting maximum harm on the state’s development prospects. The Prime Minister’s impassioned rhetoric underscored the BJP’s commitment to rooting out corruption and fostering a conducive environment for economic growth and prosperity.
