Excitement mounts in the Tamil film industry as actor Kavin, fresh off the release of “Star,” announces his collaboration with Andrea Jeremiah for the upcoming film “Mask.” Directed by debutant Vikarnan Ashok and produced by director Vetrimaaran’s Grass Root Film Company, “Mask” has already generated buzz among fans and critics alike.The official launch of “Mask” took place with a formal pooja ceremony on Friday, marking the commencement of filming for this eagerly awaited project. Kavin took to social media platform X to share his excitement about the venture, expressing gratitude to Vetrimaaran for his involvement in both “Star” and now “Mask.”
In his post, Kavin expressed his gratitude, saying, “Thank you, Vetrimaaran, for taking the time to grace us with your presence in our movie ‘Star’ and for breathing life into our fiction and making it a captivating reality.” He also included the hashtag “The Universe Does Fall In Love With A Stubborn Heart,” a quote from his recent film “Star,” indicating a thematic connection between the two projects.
Accompanying Kavin and Andrea Jeremiah in the cast are Ruhani Sharma, Charlie, Bala Saravanan, and VJ Archana Chandhoke, promising a diverse and talented ensemble.
The musical score of “Mask” will be composed by GV Prakash, while cinematography duties will be handled by RD Rajasekhar.
Vetrimaaran, known for his groundbreaking work in Tamil cinema, will produce “Mask” along with SP Chokkalingam’s Black Madras Films, further adding to the anticipation surrounding the project.
