US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held an hour-long conversation on Wednesday morning, following Trump’s discussion with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday.
In a social media post on his Truth Social account, Trump stated that the call aimed to âalign both Russia and Ukraine in terms of their requests and needsâ as part of efforts to establish a ceasefire between the two nations.
Just completed a very good telephone call with President Zelenskyy of Ukraine. It lasted approximately one hour. Much of the discussion was based on the call made yesterday with President Putin in order to align both Russia and Ukraine in terms of their requests and needs.â
