At least 35 to 40 soldiers from the Pakistani Army were killed between May 7 and 10, the Indian Army said in a press briefing on Sunday. Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) Lieutenant Gen Rajiv Ghai further stated that, on the other hand, India lost five soldiers during Operation Sindoor.
“Some of our airfields and dumps saw repeated attacks in waves from the air. All were thwarted. The Pakistan Army has been reported to have lost approximately 35 to 40 personnel in artillery and small arms firing on the Line of Control between 7th and 10th May,” said Lieutenant Ghai.
Meanwhile, five Indian soldiers were killed in Operation Sindoor launched against Pakistan in response to the Pahalgam terror attack. “I pay my solemn homage to my five fallen colleagues and brothers from the armed forces and civilians who have tragically lost their lives in Operation Sindoor,” the Armed Forces said in a briefing.
