Islamabad, June 25: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif thanked China for its steady financial support, saying it helped stabilise Pakistanâs economy.During a meeting with Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong, Sharif said Pakistan is fully committed to completing key projects under the $60 billion China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), including railway upgrades and Gwadar Port development.
He praised Chinaâs role in supporting Pakistanâs growth and discussed regional issues like the Iran-Israel conflict. The ambassador appreciated Pakistanâs peaceful efforts at global forums.
Sharif also confirmed his upcoming visit to China for the SCO Summit in August, with preparations already underway.
