Bomb threats were reported at the residences of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M. K. Stalin and actress Trisha Krishnan in Chennai, prompting immediate action by law enforcement agencies. The threats targeted several high-profile locations, including the Governorās residence, CM Stalinās Alwarpet residence, and Trishaās home in Teynampet. Police teams, assisted by bomb-sniffing dogs, conducted thorough searches at these sites. Authorities later confirmed that no explosives were found, indicating that the threats were hoaxes.
This is part of a series of similar false threats in Tamil Nadu. In July 2025, hoax bomb threats were also made to CM Stalinās residence and the residence of TVK chief Vijay.
Investigations are ongoing to identify those responsible, and security measures have been strengthened at the affected locations. Officials have urged the public to avoid making false threats and to report any suspicious activity promptly.
