The highly anticipated film Suriya 47, directed by Jithu Madhavan, officially went on floors with a ceremonial pooja in Chennai, marking the start of principal photography. The launch event saw the presence of the filmās lead star Suriya, along with actors Nazriya Nazim and Naslen, as well as the music composer Sushin Shyam and other key members of the cast and crew. The movie is backed by Zhagaram Studios.The film will feature cinematography by Unni Palode, making his debut as cinematographer, while editing will be handled by Ajmal Sabu. Director Jithu Madhavan described the project as a fresh beginning ā a new collaboration with a major star that brings excitement and high hopes for audiences.
Production is expected to begin soon, with an initial schedule planned to kick off in Kerala. Given the star cast, technical team, and the buzz surrounding the launch, Suriya 47 has already become one of the most eagerly awaited films in the Tamil film industry.
