In one of the biggest pan-India film acquisition deals of the year, Panorama Studios, in collaboration with Pen Studios, has secured the worldwide theatrical and digital rights to the highly awaited Malayalam film Drishyam 3. The film is written and directed by Jeethu Joseph and stars legendary actor Mohanlal. It is produced by Aashirvad Cinemas, headed by Antony Perumbavoor.The Drishyam franchise is regarded as one of the most influential and widely celebrated series in Indian cinema. Over the years, it has achieved record-breaking box-office success, tremendous audience engagement, and has inspired several acclaimed remakes in multiple languages. Panorama Studios, in fact, produced the successful Hindi adaptations, including Drishyam 2, directed by Abhishek Pathak. The series remains one of the most admired examples of gripping, contemporary storytelling.
Actor Mohanlal also shared his thoughts on returning as Georgekutty.
