Security arrangements include deployment of 700 police personnel, and public travel disruptions are expected on the Madurai-Rameswaram National Highway during his movement.
Authorities have also imposed a temporary ban on drone flights in areas such as Pamban, Mandapam, Thangachimadam and Rameswaram today and tomorrow to ensure safety during the high-profile visit.
State Governor R.N. Ravi, Union Ministers and other dignitaries will also attend the event alongside the Vice-President.
Kashi Tamil Sangamam 4.0, was held from December 2 to 15 in Varanasi, that brought
together students, academicians, artists, writers, and cultural practitioners from across
the country.
The programme celebrated the deep-rooted cultural, spiritual, linguistic, and philosophical linkages between Tamil Nadu and Kashi, reaffirming India’s civilizational unity and shared heritage.
