Tehran, Jan 24: Iran is unfazed by hostile rhetoric from Washington and is prepared for any outcome, the Indian representative of Iranās Supreme Leader said on Friday.He was responding to remarks by US President Donald Trump that Iran could be āwiped off the face of the earthā if anything were to happen to him.
āThis statement is not new,ā Abdul Majid Hakeem Ilahi, Representative in India of Iranās Supreme Leader, said in an interview. āWe are also ready for everything.ā
Ilahi said the remarks came amid rising tensions between Washington and Tehran, including US criticism of Iranās handling of nationwide protests and warnings of severe retaliation over alleged threats.
