Filmmaker Aishwarya Rajinikanth is set to helm a new project, officially announced to be in development. The film will be produced by Kannan Ravi under the KRG Productions banner, with Deepak Ravi serving as co-producer, marking the company’s ninth production venture.
In a statement shared on social media, the production house expressed pride in collaborating with Aishwarya, emphasising their belief that cinema thrives on meaningful partnerships built on shared vision and trust. The makers described the upcoming film as an ambitious, grand multilingual project planned for release in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi. Touted as a wholesome entertainer, the film promises a powerful and engaging cinematic experience aimed at audiences across the country.
Further details regarding the cast and technical crew are yet to be revealed. Aishwarya made her directorial debut with 3 and later directed Vai Raja Vai and Lal Salaam, the latter featuring an extended cameo by Rajinikanth. She has also directed the documentary Cinema Veeran, centred on stunt artistes in the Tamil film industry.
