Pakistanâs Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has publicly offered Islamabad as a potential venue for peace talks between the United States and Iran in a bid to help end the ongoing Middle East conflict.
In a social media post shared by U.S. President Donald Trump, Sharif said Pakistan âwelcomes and fully supports efforts to pursue dialogue to end the war in the Middle Eastâ and is âready and honouredâ to host negotiations if both Washington and Tehran agree.
The offer comes amid growing global concern over the warâs impact, including disruptions to vital energy routes such as the Strait of Hormuz and rising economic costs.
