Krishnagiri, April 22:

Three persons were killed in a tragic road accident after a car collided with an omni bus in Krishnagiri on Tuesday.

According to reports, the collision was severe, leading to the death of all three occupants of the car on the spot. The impact left the vehicle badly mangled, indicating the force of the crash.

Police and rescue teams rushed to the scene soon after the accident. The bodies were recovered and sent for post-mortem examination, while further investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.

Preliminary inquiries suggest that the mishap occurred due to a high-impact collision between the speeding car and the omni bus, though officials are probing the exact sequence of events.

The incident adds to a series of road accidents reported in the region, raising concerns over highway safety in the district.
