The Tamil Nadu Public Works Department has announced a major recruitment drive, offering 760 apprentice training positions across various fields. This initiative is aimed at providing practical, hands-on experience to fresh graduates and diploma holders in government infrastructure and public works projects throughout the state.
According to the notification, candidates with qualifications such as BE, B.Tech, Diploma, BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BBA, and BCA are eligible to apply. The apprenticeship will be conducted under the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS), and applicants must meet the eligibility criteria defined under the existing apprenticeship policies, including age and educational requirements.
The selection process will involve shortlisting candidates followed by document verification. This opportunity is particularly beneficial for young graduates seeking real-world exposure and skill development in the public sector, helping them build a strong foundation for future careers.
