Chennai, Aug 28:
Sundram Fasteners Ltd (SFL) has entered the submersible pump segment with the launch of its V4 range of 4-inch submersible pumps for agricultural applications.
The pilot initiative will initially cover Tirunelveli, Madurai, Ramanathapuram and Kanyakumari, with Tirunelveli becoming the first launch market in August 2026.
The company said the new range leverages its existing experience in water-pump manufacturing and engineering capabilities to address the requirements of agricultural customers.
SFL Executive Director SV Mahesh said the pilot would help the company understand rural customer needs and develop reliable, engineering-focused products backed by an appropriate support ecosystem.
