Director Mari Selvaraj has announced the completion of the first shooting schedule of his upcoming film ‘Manjanathi’, which features Priyanka Mohan, Kayadu Lohar and Kathir in the lead roles.
The filmmaker shared photographs from the sets on social media and thanked the cast and crew for making the schedule memorable. The film, which was announced in June, went on floors in September. It is produced by Mari Selvaraj and his wife Divya under their Navvi Studios banner, along with Sushant Prasad of Skanda Pictures and the Fortune banner.
The cast also includes Poornima Ravi, Vidhu and J Vignesh of ‘Kaaka Muttai’ fame. Music for the film is composed by Ilaiyaraaja, marking his first collaboration with Mari Selvaraj. The technical team includes cinematographer Ezhil Arasu K, editor Selva RK, art director Ramu Thangaraj and stunt choreographer Dhilip Subbarayan.
