‘Mookuthi Amman 2’s cast and production crew visited the revered Sri Maha Pratyangira Devi temple to perform special prayers and homams for the success of the spiritual entertainer.
The makers participated in elaborate sacred rituals, seeking blessings for a smooth production schedule and a triumphant theatrical run. As part of the auspicious ceremony, the film’s production unit also organised an extensive ‘annadhanam’ (community meal distribution), serving food to over 500 devotees who had gathered at the temple complex.
Following the massive critical and commercial success of the first instalment, ‘Mookuthi Amman 2’ is being mounted on an expansive scale, promising to blend sharp socio-political satire, humor, and divine motifs.
