Reports say that Sruthi has been approached to play Vijay Sethupathi’s heroine in a movie to be directed by National award winning filmmaker S P Jananthan. Shooting for the movie would begin by the middle of this year.

The trailer of Neeya 2, directed by L Suresh, was out in social media Friday. A remake of the 1979 film Neeya, starring Kamal Haasan, the sequel features Varalaxmi, Raai Laxmi, Catherine Tresa and Jai.
Actor Catherine Tresa will be seen in a women-centric Telugu film to be directed by Damarukam-fame Srinivasa Reddy.
Sources say that the makers felt Catherine would make for an ideal choice, given her earlier performances.
