H. Raja, State Coordinator of the BJP, has strongly criticized the recent VCK (Viduthalai Chiruthaigal Katchi) conference held in Ulundurpet, calling it a “political drama.” Referring to the event, he stated that the VCK and DMK are deceiving the public by falsely aligning themselves with the cause of prohibition, despite the DMKās involvement in the liquor industry. He questioned VCK leader Thol. Thirumavalavanās sincerity, accusing him of inviting DMK members, who operate liquor factories, to a conference supposedly advocating for prohibition.
