Tamil Nadu Minister Nirmal Kumar has indicated that the announcement for local body elections in the state could be made at any time, urging party workers to stay prepared.
Speaking at a welfare distribution event held in Veerapandi near Theni to mark the birthday of Chief Minister Vijay, the minister said the ruling Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam government has already begun taking steps to strengthen the state’s financial position within just two months of coming to power.
