Chennai conference on sexology to discuss various issues


Chennai: In an attempt to exchange academic knowledge and diverse practices on sexology and sexual medicine, a conference is happening at Hotel Hayatt Regency here from 17 to 19 August.

Asia-Oceania Federation for Sexology (AOFS) in association with Council of Sex Education and Parenthood International (CSEPI) is organising the the 34th national conference which aims to host a range of sociological debates and discussions on marital rape, child sex abuse, transgender health, potency certification, and the myth of immorality, said the organisers.

The day one of the conference dealt with topics such as drug free anti-anxiety approach to sexual concerns, sexuality in oncology, realities about child sexual abuse in Japan and evidence-based sexual rights: genital mutilation.

Experts Beverly Whipple, Nam Cheol Park, Margaret Redelman, Esther Corona, Tommi Paalanen, and Prakash Kothari will participate.
