“Marriage is not the end of your career. I am keen on continuing to act, and my husband supports me,” says actress Manisha Yadav.
Her deglamourised role in ‘Oru Kuppa Kathai’ released recently won her applause.
Speaking to ‘News Today’, she says,”I started my acting career with ‘Vazhakku Enn 18/9’. I managed to get good roles with filmmakers like Suseendhran and Karu Pazhaniappan. My ‘Trisha Illana Nayanthara’ was targetted at young audience. Thankfully it managed to become a hit and won me many fans.”
Asked about her future plans, Manisha Yadav, says,”I want to do meaty roles with substance. I am ok with a glamorous role that’s within my comfort zone.”
On ‘Oru Kuppa Kathai’, she says,”I loved the script. The character that I played was not that of a regular heroine. I thank director Kaali Rangasamy and my co-star Dinesh for the memorable role.”
