Developers showcase over 300 projects at Credai Fairpro

Chennai: Tamilnadu Deputy Chief Minister O Paneerselvam inaugurated the 12th edition of Fairpro 2019, the annual three-day expo on residential properties organised by traders body CREDAI at Chennai Trade Centre.

This year, the expo that started yesterday, is witnessing over 75 developers showcasing more than 300 residential projects with houses ranging from 20 lakh to multi-crore luxury projects. The expo is being held for three days till 17 February.

Speaking during the occasion, O Panneerselvam, said, ‘The Fairpro expo provides an opportunity for people of all strata to buy a house of their dream. The government too has been favouring the real estate to grow in the state that is helping the majority of the people to buy their own house.’

He also added that by 2030, the government plans to build the required number of housing facilities at affordable costs for the urban poor.

Also present on the occasion were Member Secretary of CMDA, Rajesh Lakhoni, Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Department, S Krishnan and president, CREDAI Chennai, WS Habib.

According to CREDAI Chennai, all the projects that are displayed in the expo are approved and registered under the Tamilnadu Real Estate Regulatory Authority (TNRERA), adding that it will ensure hassle-free transactions for the homebuyers.

Financial institutions like State Bank of India, PNB Housing Finance Ltd, LIC Housing Finance, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank and Axis Bank are participating in the expo to facilitate the easy sanction of loan to buyers.
